Learn pop/rock songs, play in a band, put on a show!

This 4-week course is for young people aged 12–17 who want to develop their skills in a band setting.

Participants should be working at approximately Grade 3 level or above on their instrument.

Students will learn to play popular pop and rock songs together as a group in a relaxed and supportive environment. Participants will improve their playing, work as part of a team, and build confidence performing with others.

The course runs on both Wednesdays and Saturdays — participants can book either or both sessions each week.

Wednesdays: Wednesday 5th August – Wednesday 26th August 2026
Time: 5:15 – 6:15 pm

Saturdays: Saturday 8th August – Saturday 29th August 2026
Time: 11:45 am – 12:45 pm

Please note:

  • Guitarists and bassists must bring their own instruments.

  • Students must play the instrument they sign up for unless otherwise confirmed by the tutor.

  • Participants should be working at Grade 3 level or above on their instrument.

  • All tutors hold Enhanced Access NI checks and have completed safeguarding training.
